This series continues to move away from an overtly Irish context. Rather than locations invested with direct political significance, these works search out the existence of a generic malevolence within the landscape.They are uninhabited spaces that lie on the edges of cities and forests of various unspecified cities throughout Europe. We are taken from bright bleached vacant lots, to corners of almost complete darkness were the city merges with the forest lit only by the ambient light of surrounding street lights.
